How to reach the Orselina-Cardada cable car:
The best way to reach the cable car that goes to Cardada is to take the Locarno-Orselina cable railway. The cable railway can be reached in a few minutes by walk from the Locarno SBB railway station and from the nearby parking lots.
The funicolar users benefit from a 50% discount on the parking fee in the Largo Zorzi and Piazza Stazione car parks.
To receive the reduction, the parking ticket must be stamped by the funicolar (Locarno<>Orselina)
The Bus that leaves from Locarno city to reach the departure of the cable car in Orselina is Line 3 and the stop is Orselina, Stazione Funivia in front of the departure desk Cardada.
